Avery Selisch, Pro Bono Counseling Care Coordinator

We are excited to introduce Avery Selisch, the new Care Coordinator for Project Access Northwest's Pro Bono Counseling program. Avery brings a wealth of experience in health care navigation and a deep commitment to serving underserved communities. Her passion for ensuring access to quality mental health care aligns perfectly with our mission.

Avery’s role will focus on connecting clients with the best-suited volunteer providers, ensuring that each individual receives the care they need. With a proactive and compassionate approach, she is already making a significant impact by streamlining the coordination process and enhancing client satisfaction.

With a degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from the University of Oregon, she put her degree to work with her time at Children’s Hospital as a pediatric mental health specialist.

“It was a life-changing and eye-opening experience,” she says.

Outside the office, Avery makes time for long walks, hiking and caring for her physical health. She is also an avid reader, specifically enjoying psychological thrillers. Recently, Avery has taken up paddle boarding and looks forward to paddling away this summer.

Sarah Shrader, Care Coordinator

We are thrilled to introduce Sarah Shrader as the newest Care Coordinator to join Project Access Northwest. In her role, Sarah will connect individuals with the most suitable volunteer providers, ensuring they receive the essential care they need. Her work will be focused on two outpatient clinics: Cherry Hill Dermatology Clinic and Swedish Outpatient Surgical Clinic.

After a successful 11-year career in the graphic design industry, Sarah was ready for a change and sought a more fulfilling path.

“I wanted to work in a space where I could give back to communities in need of assistance,” she shares.

To align with her new mission, she volunteered with the White Center Food Bank and Seattle Public Schools, where she found joy in serving others.

Outside of her work at Project Access Northwest, Sarah is an outdoor enthusiast who loves spending time in the mountains or on the water. During the winter, you can find her and her family skiing—both downhill and cross-country. When the weather warms up, they enjoy camping and kayaking at various scenic spots across the Pacific Northwest.

We are excited to have Sarah on board and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to our community!
