Your privacy is important to us. Please read below for details about how any personally identifiable information you may provide will be managed.
Project Access Northwest will not release your personally identifiable information without your permission. The Site is not intended for, nor is it designed to attract, children under the age of 13. Project Access Northwest, Inc. does not knowingly solicit, collect or attract personal information from or about children.
At Project Access Northwest, employee access to customer information is authorized for business purposes only and is based on the sensitivity of the information and our employees' or agents' need to know. We remind employees regularly of their obligations under Contract, which states our requirements for using customer information. Disregard of these requirements will result in disciplinary action, including termination in appropriate cases.
While we use 128-bit SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, (access to Project Access Northwest' VeloCT Gateway is through https:// security) we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment, behind a locked door.
Project Access Northwest does not sell customer information to outside parties, nor do we share your personal information with third-parties who may wish to market their products to you. However, you should be aware that there may be situations where we are legally required to disclose information about you, such as in response to a subpoena, to prevent fraud, or to comply with a legally permitted inquiry by a governmental agency or federal regulator. We will release information about you if we are required by law to do so.
Project Access Northwest may use email links located on various pages of the Site to allow you to contact us with questions or comments you may have. We welcome these email communications and make efforts to respond to these communications where appropriate. Once we get email communication from you, we may send you future email communications relating to Project Access Northwest. If you choose to not receive such future email communications at any time, you may “opt-out” by contacting us as indicated below or by following the "opt-out" procedure set forth in each email communication.
You always have the option to receive no communications in the future from Project Access Northwest. You may opt-out by replying to an email sent to you by Project Access Northwest, Inc. and placing "OPT-OUT" in the subject line. You may also contact us directly with your request at firstname.lastname@example.org
Project Access Northwest will take reasonable precautions to protect your personally identifiable information. We follow generally accepted industry security standards to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security and correctly use such personally identifiable information.
When users submit sensitive information via the web site, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our donation form asks a user to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or personal information), that information is encrypted and protected with the best encryption software in the industry — 128 bit SSL. While on a secure page (such as our donation form), the lock icon appears.
Project Access Northwest employs an additional protection mechanism known as a firewall to protect our computer systems and your information from external intrusion.
Daily review of system and application activity logs are another mechanism used to protect our systems and your information. These logs are reviewed regularly and any anomalies or discrepancies are investigated thoroughly and action is taken immediately. To further protect you, a timeout feature is often used. This feature will automatically log you out of your current merchant service session after an extended period of inactivity on the payment gateway site.
