Project Access Northwest was thrilled to be a part of this year’s Seattle/King County Clinic (SKCC). This event marked the first full clinic since the pandemic. This year's SKCC saw more than 3,000 patients over four days!
With generous support from staff, specialty providers, and volunteers, we were able to serve the following:
- 104 total referrals
- 68 referrals to Kaiser Permanente
- 32 referrals to UW Eye Institute
SKCC would not be possible without the thousands of volunteers who made this clinic a welcoming, compassionate environment for patients in need of health care. At Project Access Northwest, we're especially grateful for the incredible team of ophthalmology providers who volunteered their time and talents.
Everyone deserves access to specialty health care. And for many individuals in our communities, pop-up clinics like SKCC serve as a lifeline to health equity.
We continue to partner with organizations like Kaiser Permanente to increase access to specialty care when and where people need it.
