Project Access Northwest is honored to announce a $250,000 grant award from the Kaiser Permanente National Community Benefit Fund at the East Bay Community Foundation in support of our Care Coordination Program. This investment will help ensure that uninsured and underinsured individuals across Washington State can access the comprehensive, whole-person care they deserve.

This one-year grant (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026) will strengthen and expand our care coordination services, which connect patients to essential medical, dental, and behavioral health care at no cost to those served. Through our network of volunteer providers and community partners, our care coordinators remove barriers to care—scheduling specialty appointments, arranging interpretation, supporting follow-up, and helping patients navigate complex health systems.

For individuals living with limited income and no insurance coverage, accessing specialty care can feel out of reach. This funding will allow us to deepen provider partnerships, enhance patient support, and increase our capacity to reach more people in need throughout Washington State.

We are deeply grateful to the Kaiser Permanente National Community Benefit Fund at the East Bay Community Foundation for their partnership and shared commitment to health equity. Together, we are advancing a vision where every person—regardless of income or insurance status—has access to timely, coordinated, and compassionate care. For more information regarding Project Access Northwest go to http://projectaccessnw.org.
