We are proud to share with you the release of Project Access Northwest’s 2024 Annual Report, a reflection of a year marked by partnership, progress, and deep community impact. This report tells the story of how, together, we’ve continued to break down barriers to health care and improve lives across our region.
In 2024, our organization coordinated an impressive 4,125 appointments, achieving a 97% success rate—a testament to the effectiveness of our care coordination model and the unwavering dedication of our team. Every one of those appointments represents a person connected to timely, critical health care that might otherwise have remained out of reach.
We also celebrate another year of community support: the 2024 Strike Down Barriers to Health Care event was a rousing success, raising over $135,000 in support of our care coordination program. This incredible achievement was made possible by our generous sponsors and donors—proof that our community believes deeply in the importance of equitable access to care.
“I am incredibly proud of our staff and volunteers who are dedicated to ensuring that all individuals in Washington have access to the essential health services they need," says Gary Renville, President and CEO. “Together, let’s continue this important work and celebrate our collective impact in 2024.”

Over the past year, we have made strategic progress in several key areas. With thoughtful collaboration from our board of directors and staff, we developed a new 2024–2026 Strategic Plan that prioritizes strengthening provider partnerships, enhancing care coordination services, and expanding programs to meet the growing demand for health equity across the state.
You’ll read in the report about the powerful partnerships that helped make this progress possible:
- Arcora Foundation: Through our management of the DentistLink program, we helped connect uninsured individuals and Apple Health recipients to vital dental care across Washington state.
- HealthierHere: Our partnership focused on connecting King County residents to essential wraparound services such as food, housing, and transportation—key social determinants of health that support overall well-being.
- Overlake Hospital: We began managing their Durable Medical Equipment program to ensure patients receive the tools they need to recover and thrive at home.
Our commitment to behavioral health access continued as well, with more than 80 volunteer behavioral health providers offering pro bono counseling services—filling a critical gap for those without coverage or access.
The release of this year’s Annual Report is more than a reflection—it’s a celebration of what we can achieve when we work together.
